• Residency at Bison Health Clinic in Memphis, St. Luke's Eye Clinic in Tarpon Springs and Southern College of Optometry Low Vision Clinic in Memphis.

• Received the Bennie M. McDonald Low Vision Award.

• Member of the Northwest Florida Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association and a Member of The American Optometric Foundation Presidents Club.

• Past officer of the Northwest Optometric Association.

• Volunteers for the Leon County School System as a member of the District Advisory Counsel, and numerous committees.

• Currently serving Leon County as a Supervisor with the Ochlockonee River Soil & Water Conservation District
